Ah, the perks of writing…) I think I will leave it. Sometimes it’s better to let people puzzle over such questions for themselves. So…we shall move into an entirely different topic!

How do we live each and every day for the Lord? It’s sometimes hard not to think, oh, I already did something for God this week, or oh, I already spent time in the Word. But it is an every-day sort of thing. Maybe I’m just really bad at building these kinds of habits…But is there a way that the insane people of faith have lived their lives so wholly devoted to Jesus?

I think this is an impossible question to completely answer, but we sometimes get hints—such as circumstances. Us first-world-country-ers are pretty spoiled sometimes, and sometimes I get nervous that if/when persecution does come, I would waver. But I think the Lord also gives us strength as we need it. He will provide us the backbone we need to stand tall when our backbones are in danger of breaking. I think people of strong faith relied on God and trusted that who would provide them with everything they needed.

One person I always think of when I think about relying on God for everything is George Müller. He depended on God so thoroughly that he would sit down at the breakfast table with scores of orphans waiting for food and pray that God would provide for them their daily bread—and He would!

Examples of this are scattered throughout history, which should be an encouragement to us that God has been at working for His good and glory even when things of this world seem dire. So in conclusion…did I answer my question? Not at all. But I am curious—if anyone does have an answer to that, feel free to tell me! I am genuinely curious and pretty young mind. My life experiences are not very much yet. So…how do we live fully devoted to God, every day?

How do we live each and every day for the Lord?

[11
13,92,12,93
post-1668","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-secretarys-corner","tag-blog","tag-livelifeforgod","tag-secretary","tag-strength
["GET
