What do we rely on most in the world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think we all know what we want our answer to be. Is it accurate? Well\u2026maybe? But maybe not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m reflecting on what I rely on as the church Wi-Fi and printer are both not cooperating for me. This job is pretty reliant on Wi-Fi and the printer; without both of those things, it\u2019s kind of hard to do my job right. Fortunately, there is a <\/em>Wi-Fi working, just not the <\/em>Wi-Fi (if that makes any sense\u2026) so I can still do most things, but the printer! What am I supposed to do about that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n It has exposed rather quickly how easy it is to take for granted these sorts of things. You don\u2019t realize how nice it is to have everything working smoothly and without a hitch until suddenly\u2014there is hitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I never seem to fully panic in these moments. I just sort of\u2026freeze. It\u2019s more like a dream than real life, and until my brain realizes it is<\/em> real, I wander in a state of frozen-ment. (Yes, I know that\u2019s not a real word)<\/p>\n\n\n\n As per usual, I don\u2019t know where I\u2019m going with this, but I\u2019ll try to conclude in a somewhat-orderly fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I guess what I\u2019m trying to say is that while there will always be things we rely on in this world, we should remember to rely on God above anything else, because He has the power to change things that nothing on this earth can. It\u2019s certainly harder than it sounds, but if I\u2019ve learned anything over the past year, it\u2019s that the more you practice something, the better you get at doing it consistently. So consistently relying on God? Sooner or later, it will become the default, not the backup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And really, when it comes down to it, that\u2019s what matters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What do we rely on most in the world?<\/p>\n
