I sometimes creep myself out wandering around buildings in the dark (the church is kind of scary when you are all alone in complete silence in the stairwell\u2026thanks, Gorgon\u2026) and I scurry hither and thither so I don\u2019t have to spend overmuch time in the darker areas. And no, I won\u2019t turn on all the lights because then I have to turn them all off\u2026and run through the dark more. I have a weird brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But really, a church is one of the safest places I feel, when I\u2019m not alone in the dark. There is something very\u2026safe about a place of worship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are a lot of scary\/unpleasant\/dark things out there. The spiritual realm would be terrifying if you didn\u2019t have Jesus. But I do. Jesus is there all the time and I can call on His name when I\u2019m scared or sad, happy or hurting. Darkness has ZERO power over the name of Jesus. We can rest in complete assurance that Jesus is stronger than anything of this world or of the spiritual world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
