God’s timing is always perfect, but it is so far out of our understanding and control. I tend to get impatient with how fast or slow things are moving. “Oh, once I’m older, then I can do that. Only two more years!” Yet if God’s timing is perfect, then we shouldn’t wish it away.
As Christmas draws closer and closer and my schedule gets fuller and fuller, I’ve been thinking about connection. While I try not use it as an excuse, I am a true introvert and would nine times out of ten prefer to be alone with a good book, a piano, or a typewriter.
I like puzzles. I wouldn’t say I’m an avid puzzler, nor even a terribly effective puzzler, but I enjoy a casual puzzle here and there, especially at the Christmas season. There’s something about Christmas that makes me want to do a puzzle or three.
