I think it does a really good job of highlighting a very real ache in the human heart.
Sometimes it feels like this life will never be enough. Like it just can’t satisfy all the cravings of the heart. Whether someone believes in the Good News of Jesus or not, I think deep down this is something we all feel. We all want something more.

Last Sunday was Regional Prayer. I went in the evening, partially because I was playing guitar, and partially because I wanted to. I find, though, that often I don’t feel like going…and I’m never quite sure why. I get a lot out of it whenever I do go, but I always seem to be outlandishly tired, or I’ll mysteriously get a headache…

Snow is pretty magical. It’s so pretty and sparkly and it completely changed to atmosphere when you wake up to a bunch of snow on the ground. I was telling someone recently that I like the concept of snow; however, I’m not the biggest fan of the practicality of snow. Like, it’s pretty to look at. From inside. Under a blanket. But up close? No can do.
