Well, Christmas has past and we’re on our way into the New Year. Last week was the time of resolutions and high hopes, this week is the week all lofty ideals come crashing back to reality. At least, this has thus far been my experience.

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a wonderful, joyful, peaceful morning full of hope and love. Or, if you’re reading this after the fact, (which would be perfectly understandable) I hope your Christmas was full of all those things!
I think it does a really good job of highlighting a very real ache in the human heart.
Sometimes it feels like this life will never be enough. Like it just can’t satisfy all the cravings of the heart. Whether someone believes in the Good News of Jesus or not, I think deep down this is something we all feel. We all want something more.
