October has come and gone – November has arrived.
Sometimes at this time of year, I will look back on what I hoped to accomplish at the start of the year, and sigh. I didn’t get all the things done that I hoped to. I never finished that project – or, worse, I never started that project.
Cue the embarrassed hiding-behind-hands emoji.
We often dwell on the things that aren’t as we would want them to be, but what about all the things that did happen this year?
A lot has changed for me. I feel like it’s been a lifetime and a week since last November. And that’s both a weird and a cool feeling.
My encouragement to you for this week is to make a list of the things you wanted to get done, and a list of the things you did get done. Then thank God for all the things He has done in your life, and pray about what to do with the rest of 2026.
